Wendy Galloway

Operations Manager

Wendy joined SDRC 6 months after it was established, as Operations Manager. Previously she worked with the Local Enterprise Company, Moray, Badenoch and Strathspey Enterprise (MBSE) as Head of Skills. Wendy was responsible for developing policies and programmes that would stimulate a culture of continuous learning within the workforce of the MBSE geographical area. This included developing a customer focussed approach and addressing issues around work force development, social inclusion and lifelong learning. Wendy has also business development experience working as a Business Development Manager, gaining invaluable experience of governmental funding and finance opportunities. Wendy's present responsibilities include the implementation of quality standards, daily operational activities, managing the post graduate programmes and organising all knowledge transfer events offered by the Centre.

Jan MacPherson

Post Graduate Administrator

 Jan has recently joined SDRC as the Postgraduate Administrator. She has a degree in Psychology and a postgraduate management diploma. Her previous work experience has been with organisations ranging in size from an American multinational, Hewlett Packard, to a private Investment Management Partnership, Baillie Gifford & Co. In addition to her experience gained within the private sector, Jan has also worked within the public and voluntary sectors.

Nicola Macaulay- Smith

Accounts Officer

Nicola Macaulay-Smith manages the company accounts and all financial matters. Before joining SDRC, Nicola was Project Officer for The Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust. Working with the Trust Directors and Development Manager to ensure that the community purchase and subsequent development of the island were managed both in line with the funding guidelines and the vision for the sustainable future of the island and its community, Nicola’s particular remit was to manage the estate, including it’s housing stock and workers. She also gained experience in applying for and securing funding packages for various projects across the island.
