Seminars on Sustainability:
Sustainable Development Leadership Lecture Series
Sustainable Development Research Centre (SDRC) have come together with St Andrews University and University of Highlands & Islands Millennium Institute to bring high profile speakers who are leading the way in sustainability and corporate social responsibility to Scotland for a series of leadership lectures.
Each lecture is designed to challenge audience thinking as well as influence, shape and develop policy in Scotland. The audience will see the event as a key "must go" function to attend, as it brings together key players from both academia and business, national and international - a time to reflect and discuss sustainable development issues.
The speakers are free to choose their own topic which can include all aspects of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, and also have total freedom to be informative, challenging and forward thinking. The audience will comprise approximately 40% business -20% academic -40% public sector.
The aims of the series are to:
- promote Scotland as a leader in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.
- develop Scotland as a centre of excellence, working in partnership with others.
- provide networking opportunities, bringing academics and businesses together.
